Aero-hydro CFD optimizations driven by modeFRONTIER applied to AC75 yacht Luna Rossa for the 37th America’s Cup

Numerical simulation is an integral part of the design workflow, analyzing and optimizing ideas before even seeing them applied to the yacht. modeFrontier allowed Luna Rossa team to research shapes and solutions, creating dedicated modeling for the optimization of the hydro-aerodynamic components of the yacht, while at the same time covering the entire space of design. The team presents some case studies in which modeFrontier helped to find the optimal solution to enhance our performance.
