Architecture industry in Japan: digital transformation and optimization in structural design

Daiwa House is implementing various DX initiatives to reform the construction industry processes, such as exchanging information through BIM and establishing a CDE.
Among them, an optimization system using modeFRONTIER has been introduced in the structural design work and plan to implement VOLTA to reach our engineers. By that we aim to reform the complex structural design process that requires advanced skills.
Through the reform of the structural design process, Daiwa House's engineers can shorten the design time, perform simulations for multiple plans, and visualize the design further.
