Simone Bartesaghi

Graduated in 2006 from the Politecnico of Milan in Mechanical Engineering, he obtained a Master in Yacht Design and later a PhD in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Simone’s expertise is CFD, Data Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Star-CCM+. The 2024 America's Cup with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli will be his second, as he competed in the 35th edition with Artemis Racing. He also worked in the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012 with the Camper/ETNZ team as a CFD engineer and was a professional CFD consultant for sailing yachts, mega yachts and Olympic Kite Foil. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and, when possible, long walks in nature.
