Uyiosa Abusomwan

Uyiosa is a Senior Global Technology Manager, Digital Design & Engineering at Eaton. In this position, he leads corporate strategies facilitating the integration of emerging technologies to enhance engineering efficiency and streamline product lifecycle management. Prior to joining Eaton in 2021, he has held multiple roles in digital transformation, reliability and lifecycle management, and new technology development.
Additionally, Uyiosa is helping train the next generation of engineering leaders as a Professor of Practice at the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership, Rice University. In this role, he curated and instructs a coursework on product management in industry 4.0. His experiences position him as an advocate and passionate leader in product development, product lifecycle management, and digital engineering.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science and Doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
